I tried to record a hello message but everytime I started to tape my bird Geronimo would start talking and laughing! This was probably my 10th take and at least this time you can hear a bit of what I was saying… Then I thought is there a better way to say hello on a site about talking birds??? Thought is was so cute just had to share…  About eight years ago a wild Australian Sulphur Crested Cockatoo flew into a car; and broke a wing. outside where she was often visited by wild Cockatoos. One of the things that impressed us was how she would push lettuce leaves through the bars of the cage, offering food to visitors. Someone sent me this picture years ago & I still laugh every time I see it. I used to have a few pet chickens & I had one that would have loved to been dressed up! She was so tame that when I got home from work she would run ahead of me then suddenly lay down right in front of my feet to be petted, I had to be careful not to accidentally step on her! Our Bird AldoHe has been eating with a spoon for years & has very good spoon control! We Love Parrots and Photos, Video and Stories About Parrots! Please Feel Free to Add You Own Favorites. Everytime I Play it He Stops Whatever He is Doing and Almost Falls Off His Cage Trying to Stretch to Get Closer to the Screen! The Opera SingerPoncho Villa Escape!Usually we play this game with a paper towel & he’s out in a second (The Bird Really Loves this game) but this time someone in my house (not mentioning any names) decided to try it with a coffee filter….
